Portfolio Embankment Gardens - The installation is entered via a mirrored glass walkway that reflects the sky and the changing patterns of the weather, bounded on either side by Portland Stone and edged by planting, the viewer is emerged in both colour and fragrance. At
the end of the walkway the space opens out to reveal a glass floored
amphitheatre with a central water cascade. The glass floor is made up
of concentric circles of frosted and clear glass. The transparent sections
allow the viewer to watch the rise and fall of the Thames beneath their
feet. |
